THESEUS The Social Cooperative - non-profit organization of Conversano manages the office, residential therapeutic community located in the street Theseus prov. For Monopoly, 29 Conversano (BA) for the recovery and reintegration of working people with addiction, a reception center and a home for accredited Vocational Education and Training site c.da Putignano, 36, always conversations, with users from around the national territory in agreement with the USL BA / 5. Such cooperation has been active since '92 as part of their expertise in health and social services regarding the prevention, recovery and reintegration - working with drug addicts and alcoholics, by carrying out activities aimed at prevention of drug addiction is that the promotion and development conditions of employment of disadvantaged people.
Also in 2005, the Coop. Social Theseus was formed joint venture with Coop. Social Ithaca with which he has obtained the contract by the City of conversation of a three-year project funded by the drug prevention Puglia Region pursuant to the regional share of the National Fund to Fight Drugs DPR 309/90.
Since March 2006 there is a legal dispute between the board of directors of the cooperative and some social partners - workers who have filed complaints and lawsuits against the President and the Board of Directors of the cooperative; dispute that threatens the existence the cooperative and be in agreement with the Region of Puglia.
