The Cooperative Theseus Conversano '93 runs the Therapeutic Community " The Crusher, "Auxiliary Organisation Puglia-based residential street in prov. for Monopoly, 29 Conversano (BA) for people with problems of addiction, a reception center and a Vocational Training Centre "Colonial Marasca" to the disadvantage of the site area in c.da Putignano, 36 to chat with users from around the national territory in agreement with the former USL BA / 5 for 25 places in the residential home (for more information: http://www.coopteseo.it/ ).
The activities of the cooperative are: A-type) socio-therapeutic and rehabilitative care through projects for the rehabilitation and reintegration of people working with problems of addiction, type-B) and production work in the promotion and the development of condizioni occupazionali per soggetti svantaggiati.
Nel marzo 2006 otto soci lavoratori della Cooperativa Teseo, tra cui alcuni soci svantaggiati, hanno denunciato il Presidente, Rogondino Michele, ed il suo Consiglio di Amministrazione, esasperati per abusi ed irregolarità nella gestione della cooperativa, prepotenze e vessazioni subite per anni, consapevoli del rischio di perdere il loro posto di lavoro come infatti puntualmente è accaduto: nei mesi successivi uno dopo l’altro sono stati tutti licenziati in tronco ed esclusi da soci.
Nonostante le difficoltà e i disagi, i soci hanno intrapreso diverse azioni legali, penali e civili, tra le civili: denunce alla Direzione degli Enti Cooperativi presso la Direzione prov. del Lavoro in Bari, the Directorate General of ASL BA / 5 and the Civil Court of Bari with the request for special inspection and commissioner of the cooperative. Marisa Taliento, the head of the restoration workshop and woodworking Valentino Locorotondo, gli ergoterapisti Marcello Carico, Giuseppe Guerrieri e Lucio Malerba, i lavoratori non soci Giuseppe Avolos e la psicoterapeuta dr.ssa Florinda Romanazzi.L’amministrazione della cooperativa Teseo non ha provveduto a tutt’oggi a sostituire il personale licenziato dell’equipe, né è presente in alcun modo nella sede operativa di via Monopoli, per cui se non andassero volontariamente gli operatori in questione, i ragazzi sarebbero lasciati soli. Malgrado questa difficile situazione né gli operatori né gli utenti abbandonano la sede residenziale della Comunità, che è quindi a tutti gli effetti “occupata”.Nella comunità 10 utenti sono tuttora residenti, per seguire un programma terapeutico rehabilitation, not to mention overwhelmed inevitably involved in the heavy negative climate: the treatment service has been interrupted, the operators are not paid by January.
